Smooth Jazz 247 was launched in June 2011. It was designed to be a replacement for the terrestrial FM smooth jazz stations in the USA that were so popular in the years leading up to that point. By the time the station was launched, most of those FM stations had gone or flipped formats. And now thanks to local DAB licensing, it’s on the airwaves in South London with an Internet stream alongside. It’s perfect company while you work, or anything else that you might be doing.
